Your fourth day of meditation. How are You feeling?
Here is the guided meditation to get familiar with your feelings and thoughts. Just remember that you are not them, they are circumstantial
When we are proactively investigating this area of our lives, of our experience, we might see things we don’t want to see, and it might be uncomfortable at first. Please, be kind to yourself, and allow the emotions to happen, don’t try to change, justify nor rationalize them. Just sit there and breath. It’s just a brief moment. It will soon have passed, as you will see.
You will become better at recognizing the emotions and feelings when they are about to arise, right before we react to them. You’ll be able to make the decision, intentionally, of whether or not You want to engage with the specific emotion or feeling.
Tomorrow we will move into the third pillar or foundation of mindfulness and we will be exploring our relationship to our thoughts, which properly applied can just boost your power of concentration and getting things done like very few practices can.
Let us know how we are doing in the comments below! What are your thoughts about the course so far?
