We are here to help people like You develop your professional and personal abilities as much as you can, to become the best version of yourself, through powerful mediation techniques and mindful habits.
We want to help You learn how to combine mindfulness and meditation to create practical applications for your day to day life, whether You are new to meditation, or You have been doing it for a while.
My name is Javier Perez-Karam, but I write under the name LayArka, because it was the name given to me by my Teacher when taking the very basic set of Tibetan Buddhist Vows.
As a meditation and Dharma student and instructor, I have always been very eager to apply things to my real life and not just keep them on the cushion. Using Buddhist and mindfulness principles, I have made my life much more productive, I make better and quicker decisions, I am more aware of what needs to be done and the needs of the people around me. I also have a better understanding of what I need to improve upon; all through very basic practices and small incremental changes in my life.
I have learned much in my 8 years of studying and the last year guiding meditation in NYC. I have transformed my life and I have seen people transform theirs. These powerful principles, the ones that people use to become enlightened, can also be used to achieve anything You want to see in your life. As long as you know how reality really works.
I want to help other people learn these principles and apply them to their lives. I want to see people be happier, more content, more successful, more generous, and wiser about their role in the universe as the ultimate creative mind. I created this site for that purpose.
I will include conversations with accomplished students of the mind and great teachers that I can find, as well as successful people, like You and me, who are actively doing good business and leading a good life, in a mindful and conscious way.
You will find articles on specific mind management techniques, meditation how-tos, and special resources for mindful productivity. You will also have access to a weekly meditation, live on Fridays at 6:00 AM ET.
If You haven’t yet, I’d like to invite You to sign up for my weekly newsletter. On it I share valuable advice for a more mindful and productive life.
Be sure to come back in a few days to read our next update!
